Hello, fellow romance readers! I first came to romance novels twenty years ago because of my fear of flying. Yes, you heard that correctly, I read my first romance because I was afraid to fly. I was taking a trip and felt the need for a distraction. The local bookstore called to me and as I was leafing through the offerings, I picked up a romance novel by the great Nora Roberts. I was hooked. My interest in writing was sparked several years ago when story ideas started popping into my head. I would see something and think, boy would that make a great story. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the courage to even think about doing it until my good friend, Joanne, encouraged me. A writer herself, she and her husband put on a bookwriting workshop in my neighborhood. She saw me and encouraged my interest, and gave me the courage to give it a try. As I typed the first novel, I realized how much I enjoyed it and ideas were popping into my head for other stories. I hope you enjoy my very first book, The Timepiece.
